...currently has 8 members, though from time to time individuals have chosen to own two memberships in order to gain more access to the aircraft. The flying schedule is made up at the annual members meeting held in March of each year. However the arrangement is flexible to switches, and the aircraft is unused and available about 80% of the time. The plane has been averaging 100-120 flying hours a season. Insurance requirements and the check-out policy are easy to comply with. There are no daily time minimums and the rules and regulations are minimal, so members get the benefit of having their own plane without the high fixed costs, risks, and hassles, of owning one outright. There is an overhaul reserve for engine and prop replacement, and all maintenance is up to date and kept to a high standard. The plane is stored for the winter months, however could be converted to wheels for the winter season if there is enough member interest.
We are currently seeking new members to replace existing members as they retire from flying or move on to other aircraft.
